Shark Tank Nepal-Orange Ball Pvt. Ltd.
Orange Ball Team

It all began a year ago, when we received a life-changing offer from a representative of Shark Tank. The excitement that surged through our team at Orange Ball Pvt. Ltd. was immeasurable. But to our disappointment, the season couldn’t proceed as planned that year. Though the moment was postponed, our dreams were not. We waited—with patience, persistence, and preparation.

Fast forward to this year—when we were finally informed that Shark Tank Nepal was happening, our spark reignited. After internal discussions and a team decision, we officially finalized to go forward with the pitch. Representing Orange Ball would be our Founder Mr. Biddha Nanda Jha, Shareholder Mr. Amar Shrestha, and Ms. Puja Shrestha. With hearts full of hope and determination, we submitted all the required company documents and materials to the Shark Tank officials, as per their protocols and requirements.

But the next phase was a test of nerves—the waiting. Those few weeks felt like a year in themselves. Would we be selected? Would our story and solution be compelling enough for the Sharks? The uncertainty was unbearable. Every inbox refresh felt like the moment we’d hear back.

Then, one ordinary day turned extraordinary—the selection mail finally landed in our official Orange Ball email. We were in! That moment was filled with celebration, emotion, and a new wave of pressure: the real Shark Tank journey had officially begun.

While we had already prepared our financials, projections, and a solid mission for why we were seeking investment from Shark Tank, the road ahead was far from smooth. From endless document reviews to pitch preparation, the pressure of refining our vision, aligning numbers, and battling internal doubts became very real. The back-and-forth discussions within the paperwork, the polishing of every figure and phrase—it all led to sleepless nights and moments of overwhelming anxiety.

But that’s what dreams demand—resilience, clarity, and courage.

This is just the beginning of our Orange Ball Shark Tank story. The spotlight, the pitch, the questions, and the deals—it all awaits. What lies ahead may be unpredictable, but one thing is certain: we’re ready to face the Sharks.

Then came the big day

Baisakh 7th, 2081—our official shoot day. It was not just any day—it was the very first shoot day of Shark Tank Nepal. We were told to report to The Everest Hotel, the shooting venue, by sharp 8:00 AM. The excitement was overwhelming—but trouble was on its way too.

Coincidentally, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) had organized a major protest at Baneswor Chowk, right around The Everest Hotel. Aware of the situation, we rerouted our journey—carefully planning a way from Basundhara to Baneswor to avoid the protest. But to our surprise, the protest was happening right in front of the shooting location. Despite all our rerouting and planning, we were stuck.

After facing traffic chaos and unpredictable delays, we somehow managed to reach the venue. But the hurdles weren’t over yet.

Just as the crew was preparing for our shoot, a wedding band baja started playing right next to the hotel—from morning until evening. The loud music made shooting impossible and delayed the schedule. Our slot, which was initially scheduled for daytime, kept getting pushed. We waited… and waited.

Finally, at 9:00 PM, after nearly 13 hours of wait, it was our time to pitch.

Despite all the delays, noise, pressure, and exhaustion—we stepped onto the Shark Tank stage with confidence. Our months of preparation, sleepless nights, and hard work were all focused on that one moment.

And it was worth it.

The biggest reward? We secured an investment from the legendary Saurav Jyoti sir. That moment made everything—the chaos, the waiting, the traffic, the wedding band, the nerves—absolutely meaningful.

This is our Shark Tank story—a tale of patience, persistence, and passion. And it’s only just the beginning for Orange Ball.
